- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪As a very concerned mature woman with uncontrolled blood pressure and other concerning physical symptoms, I felt that Dr. Lapine was rushed during our visit. I spent 15 minutes filling out a medical history prior to seeing him that he did not look at or refer to. I have been taking Bystolic and wondering if it was the problem because upon researching Bystolic, I discovered anecdotal evidence suggesting that it can cause some severe physical side effects including headache, anxiety, depression, SOB, tight chest, etc., all of which was outlined in the history I completed but was not discussed or linked to Bystolic by Dr. Lapine. He did change my medications but did not really address my symptoms which include a recent chronic headache of about 6 weeks, for which he suggested I 'see a neurologist" if it persists. Perhaps he is an excellent Cardiologist, but I felt that I did not have his full attention, so I will be seeking a second opinion.January 26, 2017by Nancy Barney
